FINAL PROJECT: STOP MOTION
REFLECTION
Experience
Overall, VSP was a fun module despite the challenging moments. I used to think that filming was not difficult, but taking this module made me realize that it involves many complicated steps and can often be confusing. Throughout the module, I learned a lot of skills, including shooting, editing, audio dubbing, and even stop motion.
I enjoyed shooting the Instagram/TikTok video treatment the most, even though I had to get things done by myself. This task gave me more freedom in terms of editing, which I enjoyed a lot. Stop motion was my second favorite task, probably because I worked on it with my friend and have a genuine interest in animation.
On the other hand, I found shooting to be the most difficult aspect. It required a great deal of patience, skill, and extensive planning to achieve the desired outcome. Despite these challenges, it was great to experience and learn new things. Working in a group added to the enjoyment, as we could encourage and support each other throughout the process.
Overall, the module was a valuable learning experience that broadened my understanding and appreciation of the complexities involved in filmmaking.
